Manny Pacquiao as the new Mobile Legends Ambassador
Senator and one of the world’s 8-division boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao is now the newest endorser of the most popular mobile game— Mobile Legends.
Not just that, the mobile game will also be launching a new character inspired by the boxing champ. The hero is named “Paquito” which sounds just like Pacquiao himself.
According to Pacquiao “It is an amazing experience I have seen how much the E-sports community in the Philippines has and how much the gaming community has embraced Mobile Legends Bang Bang skills.”
In a statement made by Pacquiao’s business manager, Arnold Vegafria, Pacman will donate his endorsement fee to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.
The mobile multiplayer online battle arena was developed by Moontoon and was released in 2016. It is played mostly in Southeast Asia and even tabbed as a medal event at the E-sports competition in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
The mobile game was engaging for Pacquiao since his kids play the game at home. It just goes to show that Manny Pacquiao being the ambassador is reasonable.
